(S15) labiaplasty

Abstract Background A variety of reduction labiaplasty techniques have been introduced to date, but no single technique will offer the optimal solution for every patient. Rather, the technique should be chosen based on anatomical, configurational, and technical considerations, as well as on patients’ personal preferences regarded maintenance of the labial rim, maintenance of labial sensitivity Our aim was to evaluate both cosmetic & functional outcome of labiaplasty. Methods Two thousands patients were being operated with reduction labiaplasty from 2020-2024. Local anaesthesia was applied in all cases as a day case surgery. Results Most of our patients were satisfied from their surgical outcome as regards conformational & functional outcomes as well asexual satisfaction using the FSFI questionnaire. Conclusion Surgeon choice for the proper technique of reduction labiaplasty (reduction in labial width loss, preservation of both vascular &sensory function) in addition to proper patient selection &proper preoperative patient counselling are mandatory for best surgical outcome.
