Clinical Efficacy and Safety of Microneedling Combined with Photodynamic Therapy in the Treatment of Lupus Miliaris Disseminatus Faciei
To evaluate the efficacy and safety of microneedling combined with ALA-PDT in treating Lupus Miliaris Disseminatus Faciei (LMDF). 30 LMDF patients underwent microneedling (0.5 mm) followed by 10% ALA application and 630 nm red light irradiation (60mW/cm²) in four sessions at two-week intervals. 86.7% achieved complete remission, and 13.3% showed partial remission. DLQI scores decreased from 15.6 to 3.8, and PASI scores from 13.2 to 1.9. Mild adverse reactions resolved within 48 hours, with no recurrence during the 6-month follow-up. The combination demonstrated significant efficacy and safety, likely due to enhanced ALA penetration and synergistic effects, warranting further long-term studies.
