Effectiveness and mechanism of cisplatin combined with PDT on human lung adenocarcinoma A549 cells transplanted tumor in nude mice
This study aims to investigate the effect and mechanism of PDT combined with cisplatin on human lung adenocarcinoma A549 cells transplanted tumors in nude mice. The mice were randomly divided into four groups: the control group, the cisplatin alone group, the PDT alone group, and the cisplatin combined PDT group. Apoptosis and possible mechanisms were detected separately in each group after corresponding treatments The combination of photodynamic force and cisplatin was effective in slowing down tumor growth and was better than either treatment on its own. This may be because the combination treatment can lead to more tumor cells dying (apoptosis) by changing the expression of certain genes that regulate cell growth. PDT combined with cisplatin was effective in inhibiting tumor growth, and its effect was superior to that of cisplatin and PDT alone. This may be related to the promotion of apoptosis.
