DHA induces ferroptosis to enhance the efficacy of the photodynamic treatment of glioma through inhibits the Nrf2-Keap1 pathway
Explore the effects of DHA combined with PDT on ferroptosis and ROS production in glioma cells. The activity of tumor cells was detected by MTT assay. The invasion and proliferation ability of tumor cells were detected by scratch and transwell. ROS production was detected by confocal microscopy and flow cytometry. In vitro and in vivo experiments were conducted to verify the effect of the screening pathway on ferroptosis and ROS production in glioma. In vivo and in vitro experiments showed that combined therapy could produce a significant inhibitory effect on glioma. Through bioinformatics analysis, Nrf2 was selected as a gene related to ferroptosis for further study. DHA combined with PDT can induce ferroptosis and ROS production by inhibiting the Nrf2-Keap1 pathway. DHA combined with PDT can induce ferroptosis and ROS production in glioma by inhibiting the Nrf2-Keap1 pathway, and inhibiting the invasion and proliferation of glioma.
