The Study of Effect and Mechanism of PDT combining with Bevacizumab on Lung Adenocarcinoma A549 Cell Transplanted in Nude Mice
This study aims to investigate the effects of PDT in combination with bevacizumab on A549 transplanted lung adenocarcinoma in nude mice, and explore the underlying mechanisms. The A549 lung adenocarcinoma cell line was injected into nude mice to create a tumor model. Mice were randomized into four groups: control, PDT, bevacizumab, and combined treatment. Tumor volumes and suppression rates were compared across groups. HE staining evaluated lung cancer tissues, while TUNEL staining assessed apoptosis. Additionally, angiogenesis- and apoptosis-related factor expression was measured using RT-qPCR and Western blotting. The combination of PDT and bevacizumab significantly inhibits the growth of transplanted lung adenocarcinoma in nude mice, demonstrating superior efficacy compared to either PDT or bevacizumab used alone. The mechanism of action involves promoting apoptosis in lung cancer cells while inhibiting tumor angiogenesis. This study provides theoretical support for the development of clinical photodynamic therapy in conjunction with anti-vascular therapy for lung cancer.
