A Case Report on the Alleviation of Gastric Signet Ring Cell Carcinoma with "Frozen Abdomen" Using Microwave Thermoablation Therapy

Gastric signet ring cell carcinoma is a highly malignant type of gastric cancer, typically characterized by strong invasiveness and poor prognosis. Microwave Thermoablation Therapy (MTT) is a tumor treatment technology that combines microwave hyperthermia with thermoablation effects. This article reports the diagnosis and treatment of a male patient with gastric signet ring cell carcinoma accompanied by "frozen abdomen." The patient's symptoms were alleviated after MTT. MTT is beneficial for improving the efficacy of advanced gastric signet ring cell carcinoma, prolonging patient survival, and enhancing quality of life.
