Clinical Observation of Photodynamic Therapy Combined with Comprehensive Nursing Intervention in the Treatment of Dissecting Cellulitis of the Scalp
To investigate the efficacy of photodynamic therapy combined with comprehensive nursing intervention in the treatment of perifolliculitis capitis abscedens et suffodiens (PCAS) and to explore the impact of optimized nursing strategies on clinical outcomes. A retrospective cohort study was conducted, involving clinical data from 13 PCAS patients treated with photodynamic therapy between January 2023 and December 2024. A multidimensional nursing intervention protocol was implemented, including pre-treatment health education, intraoperative pain management and photosensitivity protection, and post-treatment wound care. Pain intensity was assessed using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), quality of life was evaluated via the Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI), and clinical efficacy, adverse reaction rates, and nursing satisfaction were statistically analyzed. Photodynamic therapy combined with systematic nursing intervention effectively alleviates clinical symptoms in PCAS patients. Standardized photosensitizer management, individualized pain interventions, and holistic health guidance significantly enhance treatment compliance, reduce phototoxic risks, and demonstrate substantial clinical value.
