Exploration of Non-surgical Treatments for Basal Cell Carcinoma: Clinical Application of Sonidegib in Combination with Photodynamic Therapy

To investigate the therapeutic effect and safety of the combination of photodynamic therapy and Sonidegib in patients with basal cell carcinoma. Patients received photodynamic therapy after treatment with Sonidegib combined with carbon dioxide laser artificial fractional treatment were analyzed. Clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were observed. All patients orally took 200mg of Sonidegib once a day for 6 consecutive weeks and received photodynamic therapy after carbon dioxide laser artificial fractional treatment once a week for a total of 6 times. After treatment, the skin lesions of all patients were significantly improved. The complete regression rate of skin lesions was 83.3% (5/6) during the 1- month follow - up after photodynamic therapy, and 100%. Sonidegib combined with photodynamic therapy after carbon dioxide laser artificial fractional treatment have good efficacy and safety for basal cell carcinoma, providing an effective treatment option for patients who are unable to undergo surgery or refuse surgery.
