Analysis of factors related to recurrence after laser combined with photodynamic therapy in giant anal condyloma acuminatum
To analyze the efficacy and recurrence related factors of laser combined with photodynamic therapy (PDT) for giant anal Condyloma Acuminatum. A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 753 patients with anal CA admitted to the Second Hospital of Nanjing from January 2020 to June 2023. Among them, Laser combined with photodynamic therapy was administered, the efficacy was evaluated at 3 months, and the recurrence related factors were analyzed. A total of 55 patients with giant anal CA received laser combined with photodynamic therapy. Logistic regression analysis showed that age over 45 years, Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy (HAART) duration less than 1 year, CD4+ T lymphocyte count less than 200, lesion area over 10 cm, mixed-type infection, and PDT less than 3 times were independent risk factors for recurrence. Reasonable interventions should be implemented to reduce the recurrence of giant anal CA.
