Curative Effect Observation of Photodynamic Therapy Combined with phlebotomy in a Patient with Panfacial Actinic Keratosis
to explore the therapeutic efficacy of photodynamic therapy combined with bloodletting in a patient with panfacial actinic keratosis. Based on the lesion conditions, quick pricking and scattered needing methods were employed for treatment. The treatment was administered once a week, with four sessions constituting one therapeutic course. The therapeutic outcomes were observed. After phlebotomy pre-treatment, PDT was performed. This approach enhanced the transdermal absorption of the photosensitizer in the lesions, reduced local ecchymosis, accelerated the shedding of scabs, and yielded definite therapeutic effects. Follow-up over six months revealed no recurrence. The combination of PDT and phlebotomy in the treatment of AK is effective in improving clinical outcomes and shortening the recovery period. This method is worth promoting.
