Effect and Mechanism of Photodynamic Therapy on Pyroptosis of Gastric Cancer Cells via PRKAA1
The incidence and mortality rates of gastric cancer are high in our country, posing a significant threat to public health and imposing substantial economic burden and medical pressure. PDT (Photodynamic therapy) is still in the exploratory stage for treating gastric cancer. Although some progress has been made, demonstrating several irreplaceable advantages, there is still a need to improve its efficacy and study the specific mechanism of PDT-induced death in gastric cancer. PRKAA1 (protein kinase AMP-activated catalytic subunit α1), as a core factor in energy metabolism, plays a role in multiple biological processes involved in malignant tumor progression. This study aims to analyze the impact of PRKAA1 on PDT treatment for gastric cancer, explore the specific mechanism by which PDT promotes cell death through PRKAA1, and identify new targets and therapeutic strategies for treating this disease.
