Research and challenges of photodynamic therapy for the treatment of Actinic keratosis
Photodynamic therapy plays an important role in the treatment of solar keratosis. With the advancement of technology and the increase of clinical trials, relevant research results are gradually becoming more abundant. In recent years, more and more research has focused on optimizing treatment parameters and improving efficacy. Photodynamic therapy combined with local intervention measures has also become a research hotspot. There are also some studies dedicated to exploring the application of new photosensitizers and light source devices. However, there are still certain differences and limitations between different studies. The future still faces many challenges, such as continuous technological improvement, individual differences among patients, adverse reactions, and the stability of long-term efficacy. In the future, we should continue to optimize treatment parameters, explore new photosensitizers and light source devices, and strengthen multi center, large-scale clinical research to provide more effective and safe treatment options for patients with solar keratosis.
