Integrating Robot Path Planning with Nurse Scheduling
Hospitals are fast-paced environments where every second counts, and robots are stepping in to make a real difference. By taking over routine tasks, they help reduce errors, improve efficiency, and give doctors and nurses more time to focus on their patients. This study explores how Genetic Algorithms (GA) can help hospital robots move smarter—finding the best routes, avoiding obstacles, and adapting to changing conditions in real time. But it doesn’t stop there. By linking robot path planning with nurse scheduling, this research shows how automation can lighten nurses’ workload and create a smoother, less stressful workflow. The results are clear: faster deliveries, better task management, and a more efficient hospital environment. By blending robotics with intelligent algorithms, this study takes a step toward a future where healthcare runs seamlessly, letting medical staff do what they do best—care for people.
