Structural Relationships among Grit, Resilience, and Exercise Endurance Intention of Active Senior Golf Participants
This study aims to investigate the structural relationships among grit, resilience, and exercise endurance intention among active senior golf participants. To conduct the research, a questionnaire was used as the measurement tool, and participants were selected from active seniors in their 50s and 60s. Using a convenience sampling method, a total of 270 valid responses were collected and analyzed to verify the findings. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS through frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling. The results are as follows: First, the grit of active senior golf participants was found to have a significant effect on exercise endurance intention. Second, the grit of active senior golf participants was found to have a significant effect on resilience. Third, the resilience of active senior golf participants was found not to have a significant effect on exercise endurance intention. Fourth, resilience did not significantly mediate the relationship between grit and exercise endurance intention, as the indirect effect was not statistically significant.
