This research falls within the field of young adult literature in Saudi Arabia, in an attempt to shed light on the objective and artistic aspects of this literature, through a blog by a Saudi writer, Dr. Arwa Khamis, in her two books: A Cup of Coffee on Treasure Island and A Tea Party in Cinderella’s Palace. This research also aims to clarify the prominent narrative techniques in the blog texts. This research consists of a short introduction, an introduction to children’s and young people’s literature in the Kingdom, and studies related to it, and three main sections: the dualistic ideas of the text, which includes the duality of childhood and innocence, and the duality of truth and imagination. The second section discusses time and place, as they are a textual focus. Then the third section is about the technical aspects of the studied texts, such as textual cohesion techniques and the question element. Then the research ends with an intensive conclusion.
