Recurrence in Adolescents With First-Time Acute Patellar Dislocation: Comparing Outcomes With and Without Osteochondral Fracture
Adolescents with first-time patellar dislocation combined with OCF face a significantly higher recurrence rate (66.7%) compared with those without OCF, leading to increased subsequent stabilization procedures (53.3%). High-risk anatomic factors, such as elevated TT-TG values, further exacerbate instability. Targeted interventions are recommended for this high-risk population to reduce the recurrence of this condition.
