Assessment of osteopontin and vascular endothelial growth factor for diagnostic performance of Egyptians hepatocellular carcinoma
Overall, OPN and VEGF displayed substantial predictive ability for tumor progression and can be employed as early markers of the onset of HCC. Osteopontin can effectively distinguish between HCC and cirrhosis and can be used in conjunction with AFP to provide the most accurate diagnosis.
