Hypopharyngeal Lymphangioma Causing Persistent Dysphagia in an Adult: A Case Report
Lymphangiomas are rare in adults but have the potential to impede patients' swallowing function and obstruct their airway. Hypopharyngeal lymphangiomas can be difficult to identify because they do not always display the expected imaging characteristics and can fluctuate in size. Treatment using a transoral endoscopic approach can dramatically improve symptoms.
