High‐Precision 3D Doping of Fused Silica Glass Derived from Nanocomposites (Adv. Mater. 45/2025)
High-Precision 3D Doping of Fused Silica Glass In their Research Article (DOI: 10.1002/adma.202511245), Frederik Kotz-Helmer and co-workers demonstrate a novel strategy to locally tailor the properties of silica glass by incorporating photocurable dopants during fabrication via high resolution 3D printing. This approach enables precise, micron-scale control over color, luminescence and refractive index in all three-dimensions.
