Design of Electrified Fiber Sorbents for Direct Air Capture with Electrically‐Driven Temperature Vacuum Swing Adsorption (Adv. Mater. 45/2025)
Design of Electrified Fiber Sorbents In their Research Article (10.1002/adma.202504542), Young Hun Lee, T. Alan Hatton, Dong-Yeun Koh, and co-workers demonstrate an electrified fiber sorbent capable of Joule heating, which is manufactured by coating ultra-thin (thickness ≈3 μm) and interconnected porous silver layer on the polymeric fiber surface, enabling fast and energy-efficient electrically-driven temperature vacuum swing adsorption for direct air capture.
