The Study on The Relationship Between the Global Gender Order and The Scientific and Technological Revolution
Abstract This paper adopts a gender-based perspective to conduct a gender analysis on the four technological revolutions in human history, and draws on constructionist theory and feminist constructionist theory to design an analytical framework for the interrelationship between the global gender order and the sci-tech revolution. Based on this framework, this article employs history as a tool to compare and analyze the changing paradigms of the global gender order and the technological revolution under the influence of each other, and summarizes the characteristics of the global gender order and the role of the technological revolution, in interrelationship to one another. The main findings of this paper conclude that in the interrelationship between the global gender order and the sci-tech revolution, the advancement and marginalization of women and feminized countries have occurred simultaneously.
