Halide Ion Exchange Mechanisms in 2D Ruddlesden‐Popper Perovskites: Diffusion‐ vs Reaction‐Limited (Small 45/2025)
Halide Ion Exchange Spacer ligands significantly influence halide ion mobility in 2D halide perovskites. Under thermal activation, the bromide and iodide ion in 2D perovskites migrate across the interfaces, leading to the formation of mixed-halide perovskite layers. The molecular structure of the spacer ligands governs the bidirectional ion migration kinetics. More in article number 2501817, Yoon Ho Lee, Doyun Kim, Junsang Cho, and co-workers.
