Trends and age-period-cohort effect on incidence and mortality of unintentional drowning from 1990 to 2021 in China
The incidence and mortality rates of unintentional drowning in China have decreased significantly over the past 31 years and are projected to continue declining over the next 15 years, although at a slower pace. To sustain this improvement, more targeted intervention strategies and enhanced protection for high-risk populations are needed.
