Surface termination engineering of MXene nanofluidic membranes for efficient osmotic energy harvesting

The correlation between ionic transport properties and surface terminal atoms was unveiled based on the surface termination tuning of MXenes. Due to Cl–Cl interactions, Ti 3 C 2 Cl 2 nanofluids delivered a superior osmotic power output of 17.84 W m −2 .
