Digital Timetable Automation System

Abstract: Any educational institution must have an effective schedule management system to guarantee that staff and students can easily obtain the most recent information about classes. Static notice boards and traditional paper-based timetables are frequently rigid, prone to update delays, and require manual intervention, all of which might cause misunderstandings or miscommunications. In order to visualise class schedules in real time, this project presents a Digital Timetable System that is driven by an Arduino microcontroller and a TFT display. Authorised staff members can easily amend timetable entries in the central database by using the web-based interface that the system incorporates. The Arduino displays the matching schedule on the TFT screen after receiving the current lecture details from the database via a Python software that runs with the system clock. This configuration offers a dependable, automatic, and dynamic method of managing schedules. Improving timeline dissemination's accuracy, efficiency, and accessibility is the main goal of this project. The technology minimises human labour while guaranteeing that students always have access to the most recent information by automating the updating process and doing away with the necessity for manual display adjustments. The solution is a workable substitute for conventional techniques since it is affordable, easy to use, and flexible enough to accommodate various institutional needs.
