Thermal Fluctuation Regularities of the Fracture of Bituminous Composites
Statement of the problem. Thermal fluctuation patterns of destruction of bituminous composites which were obtained by introducing expanded claydite waste and woodworking industry waste into bituminous mastic are investigated. Results. The most dangerous type of loading of bituminous coatings is tensile loading. The results of experimental studies of tensile strength characteristics of bituminous mastics modified by the introduction of expanded clay and woodworking waste are presented. The results of the study are based on the generalized formula of thermal fluctuation theory. Conclusions. The complex of conducted researches sufficiently demonstrates the change of tensile strength characteristics of bituminous mastic after introduction of expanded clay and woodworking waste. In the course of the research thermal fluctuation constants have been determined, which allow to calculate durability, heat resistance and long-term strength of bituminous composites.
