The mechanism and exploration of S&T society participating in the evaluation of scientific and technological achievements

In recent years, China has continuously explored the construction of a scientific and technological achievement evaluation mechanism that mobilizes the participation of multiple stakeholders. As a community of S&T workers, S&T societies have natural advantages such as organization, talent, and high social recognition in the evaluation of scientific and technological achievements, and are important participants in the evaluation of scientific and technological achievements. Clarifying the driving force, organizational mobilization mechanism, guidance and guarantee mechanism, incentive and restraint mechanism, etc. for S&T societies to carry out scientific and technological achievement evaluation can lay a theoretical foundation for better mobilizing the enthusiasm of S&T societies to participate in scientific and technological achievement evaluation, effectively exerting their advantages and roles. On this basis, it is suggested to strengthen top-level design, enhance the standardization level and self-ability of scientific and technological associations, in order to improve the detachment, independence, professional level and brand value of scientific and technological achievements evaluation by S&T societies, and provide support for the improvement and perfection of the scientific and technological achievements evaluation system.
