Planning and implementation of immersive drama within museum exhibition spaces
With its unique narrative structure and expressive methods, immersive drama within museum exhibition spaces is beneficial in reshaping physical space of museums, exhibition presentations and communication patterns with the public, thereby innovating cultural expression and knowledge dissemination methods. Based on a systematic review of relevant concepts related to immersive drama within museum exhibition spaces, this paper elucidates its characteristics and takes the immersive processional drama "The Candlelight of Civilization" created by the China Science and Technology Museum as an example to conduct a detailed analysis of key development and implementation aspects such as topic selection and planning, scriptwriting, scene design, actor selection, and performance summary. Furthermore, it puts forward future development suggestions from the perspectives of content creation, operational management, talent cultivation, and cross-sector collaboration.
