Evaluation of iStent Inject® Trabecular Microbypass Stent Implantation With Phacoemulsification in Cases of Mild to Moderate Primary Open-Angle Glaucoma (POAG)
Significant reductions in IOP and medication burden were identified in this cohort of 102 eyes. It has been observed to be a safe surgery with a high safety profile. The utilization of this concomitant surgery could help reduce the number of follow-ups required for patients with glaucoma compared to exclusively medical control or advanced glaucoma surgery and lead to significantly less theater time.
