Elemental Sulfur in the Synthesis of Organic Compounds (An Update 2019–2025)

In recent years, S 8 has gained significant attention as a versatile and atom‐economical sulfur atom source in the synthesis of organic compounds. The aim of this review is to provide a comprehensive overview of the recent advances (over the past five years) in this field, highlighting the wide spectrum of sulfur‐containing and non‐sulfur‐containing structures that can be constructed using S 8 .
