Shaking table test of the prefabricated concrete structure with sandwich exterior wall panels and long-span floor slabs
To promote the development of prefabricated concrete structures for multi-story residential buildings, a new type of prefabricated structure with sandwich exterior wall panels and long-span floor slabs (SEWPLFS) is proposed. Shaking table test is conducted to explore system-level seismic performance. The model structure performs extremely well. Under excitations of the rarely occurring seismic intensity, the main body remains intact. The relative decreases in frequencies are limited. The maximum acceleration amplification coefficient is within a reasonable interval range. The response of displacement relative to the base is basically similar in shape to the first-order vibration mode, both following the rule that the relative displacement values of the high story are smaller than those of the low story. A good lateral displacement control ability can also be proven by the maximum interstory drift ratio results. The SEWPLFS structure exhibits a prominent torsional resistance and energy dissipation capability. With the increase of input peak ground acceleration, the energy dissipation capacity shows a steady improvement approximately in a linear manner and the equivalent lateral stiffness shows a downward trend with a slowing decreasing rate. In summary, the seismic performance of the SEWPLFS structure has the advantage of strong integrity through innovative joint connection design.
