Letter to the Editor Concerning the Article: “Comparative Outcomes of Drug‐Eluting Balloons Versus Drug‐Eluting Stents in Patients With Diabetes Undergoing PPCI”
To the Editor, Shabeer et al. [1] have delivered a timely and pertinent analysis that addresses a central question in contemporary practice: how best to approach revascularization in our diabetic patient population. We commend the authors for exploring the complex comparison between drug-eluting balloons (DEB) and drugeluting stents (DES) in a high-risk population. However, several methodological aspects merit attention to fully interpret the study's implications.
