Effect of liposomal bupivacaine for preoperative erector spinae plane block on postoperative pain following video-assisted thoracoscopic lung resection: a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, clinical trial
Among patients undergoing video-assisted thoracoscopic lung resection, liposomal bupivacaine for ESPB led to a statistically significant reduction in 72-h cumulative rest pain compared with bupivacaine hydrochloride. Pain relief at 24 and 32 h met the predefined threshold for clinical significance.
