OPERATIONAL INVESTIGATIVE SUPPORT FOR THE DETECTION AND INVESTIGATION OF CRIMES IN INSTITUTIONS OF THE PENAL SYSTEM IN SPECIAL CONDITIONS: SOME THEORETICAL AND LEGAL ISSUES

Based on the analysis of a number of regulatory legal acts, the article draws a conclusion about the specifics of operational investigative activities carried out in institutions of the penal system, including under special conditions. Special attention is paid to changing the organization of operational search activities when establishing a regime of special conditions in correctional institutions, as well as to adjusting the conduct of operational search measures when various kinds of restrictive measures are imposed due to martial law or a state of emergency.
