Supplemental Material for Order Is Ordinal in Serial Memory

Each of the analyses in the paper was based on a Bayesian mixed-effects model. We ran each test separately for mean response time (using a standard linear model) and for accuracy (using a beta-binomial GLM predicting the number of correct trials given the total number of trials). In each model, the participant was treated as a random effect on the intercept.
