Line-field confocal optical coherence tomography as a tool for the diagnosis of cutaneous larva migrans
We present the first direct in vivo visualization of a cutaneous larva migrans using line-field confocal optical coherence tomography, which revealed the segmented larval body and perilarval vesicle with near-histological precision. This high-resolution, noninvasive technique enabled confident diagnosis in an atypical case, highlighting its added value over conventional imaging methods in parasitic dermatoses.
