Using the Rickter Scale Method to Measure Genuine Personal Well-Being: Case Study
The Community of Well-Being Initiative aims to support a culture of individual, organizational, and community well-being, utilizing the Gallup Well-Being Index and the Rickter Scale Method. A systemic approach to well-being has been developed to create an effective system with practical measures that supports developmental changes within both individuals and organizations. This paper presents a case study of one individual, JP, who was empowered to recognize new potential after a single Rickter Conversation. JP’s response is reflective of the journeys undertaken by countless individuals who have encountered the Rickter Scale Method. Based on Neurolinguistic Programming, thinking, feelings and behavior (neuro) are systematically changed (programmed) by means of language (linguistics) in the Rickter Scale Method.
