What is new here?Identifying the antecedents and attributes of adherence to treatment in patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment makes it possible to plan for its improvement and improve their quality of life.Adherence to treatment is a multidimensional concept, and families, patients, and the health care system must be involved to promote it.
