Multi‐Region Brain Organoids—A Breakthrough in Neurological Research
ABSTRACT The development of organoids, capable of remodeling brain regions and interactions between neural populations, has led to great advancements in recent decades. A team of researchers at Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD) has reported a milestone, the creation of multi‐region brain organoids (MRBOs). MRBOs integrate the key components of the human brain—cerebral, mid/hindbrain, and complex endothelial organoids—into one structure and enable more accurate investigation of neurodevelopment disorders.
