Inhibition of calcium-sensitive receptors ameliorates myocardial fibrosis, in Dahl salt-sensitive rats
Inhibition of CaSR with Calhex231 exerts cardioprotective effects by suppressing Drp1-dependent mitochondrial fission, thereby mitigating oxidative stress and calcium overload. These findings support CaSR as a promising therapeutic target for myocardial fibrosis in salt-sensitive hypertension.
