Prospective, Observational Study of the Efficacy, and Tolerability of a Same-Day, Low-Volume D-Sorbitol, Ascorbic Acid, and Sodium Picosulfate Regimen for Colonoscopy Bowel Preparation
This prospective, observational study demonstrated that a same-day, low-volume D-sorbitol, ascorbic acid, and sodium picosulfate bowel cleansing regimen showed high efficacy, excellent completion rates, and a favorable safety profile in outpatient colonoscopy practice. This could represent a convenient alternative to traditional split-dose preparations, potentially improving patient compliance.
