Website Base Application Development Online Curriculum at Argo Cipta Persada

This article examines the ongoing development of the Curriculum Online platform, a digital solution originally developed by Argo Cipta Persada. It serves as a tool for the creation of curricula and is supported by a designated moderator. The system has flexible modules that follow the standard curricula and is connected to both SIAKSI and SIAKPEL to manage centralised data storage and track the availability of curricula. To improve the usability of the system, the study utilised qualitative research methods, including semi-structured interviews and passive observation. Insights were gathered from ten users - including curriculum staff, facilitators and IT staff — who shared their experiences, challenges and expectations when using the platform. UML diagrams helped to visualise the system requirements, while the development process followed the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and included Scrum as a project management method. The platform was developed using PHP and MySQL and supported by APIs to ensure integration with other systems. Notable features include compatibility with various curriculum formats, automatic email notifications, integration with SIAKPEL and improved security through Single Sign-On (SSO) and Google ReCAPTCHA. Overall, the system was well received by its users and proved to be an efficient, user-friendly solution for digital curriculum management. The study emphasises the importance of user-centric design in educational technology. In the future, further research could be used to evaluate the performance of the platform on a large scale, monitor user satisfaction over time and potentially utilise artificial intelligence to support adaptive curriculum design. Complementing the study with quantitative tools such as usability surveys could also validate and strengthen the results of the qualitative approach.
