The Impact of Multiplayer Puzzle Games to Gen Z’s Cooperative Skills
This research examines the impact of playing a multiplayer puzzle game, namely Relic Riddles , on social interaction, problem-solving skills, and interest in media in Generation Z. The research was conducted by participants filling out pre- and post-test questionnaires to see the difference in results before and after playing Relic Riddles , which was tested on 32 individuals aged 17 to 25 years. The results showed that there was a significant positive increase in all three areas, with the Wilcoxon signed-rank test showing p-values below 0.001 with a valid questionnaire (r > 0.6) and a reliability Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.719. Overall, Relic Riddles is an appropriate medium for boosting development skills in the younger generation, both for social and cognitive competence.
