Multiobjective impedance-based control for a TNPC-based rectifier for dc-link supplying
This paper presents a multiobjective design methodology based on non-smooth ${{\mathcal{H}}_\infty }$ for ac/dc power converters connected to dc systems, which allows to simultaneously meet passivity, robustness and reference tracking criteria. It is well known that closed-loop impedance has a critical impact on system stability. To ensure stability, researchers often modify the closed-loop impedance of power converters. However, balancing impedance shaping to achieve stability with robust reference tracking control is a complex challenge, especially within traditional control design frameworks. The proposal takes advantage of modern techniques by employing a simple frequency-based weighting design and abstracting the dynamic complexity of the plant, all while maintaining low controller complexity.
