Eccrine Spiradenoma on the Right Nasal Dorsum: A Case Report and Literature Review
Abstract An 18-year-old female presented with a string of beaded skin nodules on the right nasal dorsum. Ultrasound demonstrated multiple well-circumscribed hypoechoic lesions with internal vascularity. Pathologically, these lesions proved to be a pseudomultinodular solitary eccrine spiradenoma (ES), with fibrous septa creating the sonographic illusion of multiplicity. This case report showcases the typical ultrasonic and pathological features of ES and emphasizes the importance of combining ultrasonography, medical history, and histopathological examination for accurate diagnosis. We aim to provide a comprehensive understanding about its clinical manifestations, diagnostic methods, and treatment strategies to aid in the early detection and effective managements.
