A Study of a Consumer Perception Towards E-Bikes in Delhi-NCR Region

This study examined consumer perceptions toward electric bicycles (e-bikes) in the Delhi-NCR region of India. The research examined the level of awareness, perceived benefits, and barriers that influence purchase decisions. Primary data were collected from 150 respondents using a structured questionnaire and analysed using descriptive statistics in SPSS. Findings revealed that environmental friendliness and cost-effectiveness were the most significant motivators, while high initial purchase cost and limited charging infrastructure were major deterrents. The results highlight the need for targeted policy support, awareness campaigns, and infrastructure development to enhance e-bike adoption and promote sustainable urban mobility.
