Research on predefined-time stabilisation control of the chaotic system based on event-triggered mechanism

In this paper, we introduce a novel predefined-time event-triggered control methodology, which integrates the benefits of predefined-time control and event-triggered control. This scheme enables a chaotic system to reach stability quickly while effectively reducing the number of controller updates. In this paper, two predefined-time event-triggered controllers are conceived, and the validity of the presented control strategy is demonstrated. The outcomes of the numerical simulation illustrate that the chaotic system can be rapidly stabilised inside a predefined time under the presented control strategy. In addition, the number of controller updates is significantly reduced compared to continuous control and existing predefined-time event-triggered control schemes, resulting in more efficient resource utilisation. Also, the predefined-time control used in this scheme has the advantage of shorter system convergence time compared to finite-time control and fixed-time control.
