Investigating radiation effects on LSF0102 level shifters
We present the results of a Total Ionizing Dose (TID) test on Texas Instruments LSF0102 level shifters irradiated with 60 Co gamma rays up to a total dose of 20 kGy. Non-monotonic variations were observed in the supply current, high-level output voltage, and output characteristics as a function of dose. Worst-case scenario in terms of highest supply current and lowest high-level output voltage occurs at a specific critical dose. This behavior should be carefully considered when evaluating such devices for use in environments with high radiation levels.
