Front Cover: Modulating Bond Order and Aromaticity in Dual‐BN‐Bonded Dihydrophenazine for Multi‐Stimuli Responsiveness
A single molecule, 5,10-bis(dimesitylboryl)-5,10-dihydrophenazine (BNNB), demonstrates complex, multi-stage responsiveness. As reported by He Tian and colleagues in their Research Article (DOI: https://doi.org/10.1002/anov.70012), this dynamic system integrates two tunable units, enabling conformation-driven multilevel responses to various stimuli. Through stepwise B-N bond twisting and planarization of the dihydrophenazine core, BNNB exhibits striking thermochromic, mechanochromic, photoisomerization, and electrochromic properties.
