Research Progress of Individualized Nutritional Intervention on the Impact of Gestational Diabetes
Gestational diabetes mellitus, one of the diseases that predispose women during pregnancy, is a common metabolic abnormality during pregnancy. This disease may not only cause short and long term complications to the mother such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and obesity, but also the number of patients who suffer from gestational diabetes mellitus is increasing, and the prevalence of the disease is on the rise.Individualised nutritional interventions have been found to have a significant effect on gestational diabetes, but there is a lack of standardisation of intervention protocols in existing studies. The aim of this review is to systematically summarise the effects of individualised nutritional interventions and treatment strategies in clinical practice, and to provide a basis for the development of standardised individualised intervention protocols to enhance the practicality of GDM management.
